Wolfberry Extract

1. Sources and Habitat
Lycium is a genus of the nightshade family (Solanaceae), containing about 90 species of plants native throughout much of the temperate and subtropical zones of the world. They are mostly found in dry, semi-saline environments.

3. Indications and Uses
It helps to maintain healthy immune system, improving eye conditions, support healthy liver function, and maintain healthy blood pressure and blood sugar.
It is also an excellent herb for anti-oxidant and anti-aging.

4. Safety Concerns
As a widely used food, wolfberry is thought to be relatively safe. However, it has not undergone comprehensive safety testing. Maximum safe doses in pregnant or nursing women, young children, or people with severe liver or kidney disease have not been established.

5. Dosage Information
8g/L Lycium fruit extract (standardized to 40% polysaccharide) daily is recommended for poor eyesight and supplement of liver diseases.
